I have been practicing yoga for 10 years and teaching for 3 years. I am yogafit certified levels 1- certified. Yoga is good for all over body conditioning. It helps strengthen core muscles which is great for pole and improves flexibility for those splits on the pole! Yoga also builds strength in the upper body allowing better poses in pole along with toning legs and glut muscles! Practicing also helps reduce stress and gives us time out of our busy schedules to focus on ourselves instead of everything going on around us and in our lives.
